Appearance: light brown/ dirty blonde hair that is a little too long, nearing his chin in length. it's scruffy-looking, but nothing can make it lie flat.
He is not too tall, but not short either, with a lean, wiry body. His eyes appear to be frosted over with a icey-colored haze, which is the only indication of his blindness.
He always smiles, and it lights up his face. his eyes are a light blue-grey.
History: Born in a hold nearby moonlit, he was a normal little boy. But on his 5th turningday, M'kal became blind due to a fever that killed two other children of the hold.
Growing up in the hold, he was teased and made fun of for his blindness until the day he was Searched. He nearly leapt into the bluerider's arms when he told M'kal that he was being Searched.
He came to the weyr with his guide-firelizard, Guider, whom he had impressed at a young age, after he became blind. Standing for judurith's first clutch's hatching, m'kal had felt hopeless, but he Impressed and is very happy he did.
Dusk rinath is his life-mate. the dusk dragon caught silver dearyth on her first flight, and has sired her first clutch. M'kal is interested in Raiin of Sapphire Valureth, hanrak is the rider of dearyth, and valureth was flown by j'emmay 's ugrayth, a sand. Basically, he's caught in a very awkward love/relationship/dragonlust triangle.
Pets: GUIDER- He impressed Brown Guider when he was 6, the turn after he became blind. Guider is loyal and a fierce friend, and he is not at all shy. Guider attempted to Catch gold aphrodite, but lost to Takonic.
PUMPKIN- He impressed this muttie bronze-like flitter quite by accident at Aphrodite's clutch's hatching. the little thing is about the size of a lilac flitter, but with the personality of a less prideful bronze. punpkin is slightly orangey in color.
Other: both rinath and guider give m'kal their sight when he needs it, but he gets around so well without that sight.
His personality changes and developes as he goes, because in some ways he is naive, in other ways, very mature.

Rinath is dusky, lightish gray with darker gray, almost black, on his extremities and wing-sails.
he is very small, a tiny bit bigger than silver Dearyth. He has a bulkier-looking body than the silver as well, with a larger chest cavity and larger muscles on arms, legs, and wing-arms.
Dragon Age: 4 turns
Dragon Fertility: Yes, he has sired a clutch of 5 eggs
Personality:: slightly demanding, but fair. he hates when people treat him differently because of his size, except if its His M'kal that does it, then he is lenient.
He has a deep bond witht M'kal, and has taken over partly from Guider's duty as his eyes. Rinath helps M'kal when they practice fighting thread, and so far, M'kal's only been "scored" by the fake thread once, the first time they did it.
Rinath is caring and cosiderate, but at the same time, his needs are only second to M'kal's needs. anything else is unimportant to Rinath. this dusk dragon is not very amorous, it would seem, but has no problem with chasing female dragons.
He is shy and easily embarrased, just like His.
He is curious, often falling into things he shouldnt.
