IC date: May 29th
(5 days after the egg-brush, 4 after val's clutching, unless i am mistaken...)
It was very early in the morning. The sun had not yet risen above the horizon. But Verelith bolted upright, startling Miri awake.
"What is it, Ver?" She asked her dragon, worried.
The spiral was laying, as always, in the doorway that conected the sands-where her precious eggs hardened- and miri's small one-room quarters that she was usinig for now.
Once verelith's eggs hatched, miri and ver could move into the emerald cavern with k'ron and torenth.
But there was something bothering Verelith, and she kept looking out at the eeggs.
The feelings emenating across the link from Ver to Miri were faintly confusing , yet Miri suddenly knew what was going on.
Oh! The eggs, are they going to hatch?! As she asked Verelith, miri felt it was true.
the pink and purple dragon nodded, her eyes whirling a deep blue with tinges of yellow as the colors swirled quickly.
My children have begun to come into this world. I shall alert Torenthheart and HisK'ron. Mine, would you please stand guard on my eggs? A gold would never ask anyone-- not even their rider-- to watch their hatching eggs, but Verelith had no such qualms about HerMiri.
With a smile, Miri squeezed out of the small room and onto the hot sands. She ran over to the eggs and stood, watching out for who knows what.
Verelith pulled her elegant head out of the doorway and let out a ringing bugle, along with a mind-call.
Candidates and Riders, Dragons and all others, My Clutch is hatching! Do not tarry! My children are ready to emerge!
Miri grinned and put more sand on top of the Sea egg.
Her Verelith was such a drama queen, but miri loved her all the same!
To Torenth, Ver sent out a more private message, and miri joined in to contact K'ron.
"Torenthheart And K'ron love!My eggs are hatchinig! So get your butts over here before it's too crowded to reach you!" They said at the same time, their minds melding together as they contacted their Weyrmates.
For Ver's (and her own) sake, Miri hoped K'ron would get here ASAP.
She turned the Earth egg so that the part where a crack was showing faced upwards, then put some sand on the curved surface.
