((aka: how to get everyone stufed. and in the case of three hatchings one after the other, aka: how to make visitors fat lol XD))
The Hatching feast was thought of before even the egg-brush had taken place. The headwoman had planned out the meal and dragonette food with the cook and the herdcraft folk to bbe sure that there was enough t ofeed everyone and their cousin. and a ton of hungry dragonettes straight out of the shell!
Headwoman Alorra smiled as the first of the Weyrligns staggered in, some carrying their baby dragons, other beign led inn.
Cigith and Her's as well as Doelth and Her's were first, their lifemates more than happy to carry the little bundles into the hall adjoining the sands.
She tapped the server at the humans' Buffet o nthe shoulder, and he stopped starign and started heating the food in his pans.
She walked over to the dragonett-feeding station and nodded over how th ebaskets of bread, pastries, and fruit were arranged nicely and then she looked at th emeat. It was, of course, messy-looking, but a bit more than she liked. She got a drudge to separate the raw and cooked meats into the separate pans.
There was surely enough for all of the babies AND thier hungry weyrlings!
She grined to herself and sent the drudge to wash her hands off while Alorra helped set up the drinks tables.
This was a busy day, but Alorra souldn't have it any other way.
((OOC: okay! this first post is during the first few hatchings, but i want it, IC, to be occuring AFTER all the eggs have hatched, with both visitors and weyrlings attending. on one side of the room is the dragons' area and the other is everyone else's food. weyrligns should feed their dragons and then snag something for themselves, though it could be done that a family or friend brings over food for a weyrling.)))
