The Weyrleader and Weyrwoman's weyr is magnificent, with paintings of a queen dragon's Flight, males chasing after, on the high cieling, and smaller dragon images flying across the walls. The wide doorway has a thick curtain that can be pulled across for privacy or away to allow rider and dragon to pass into the wide hallway. This area is built for larger dragons- golds, bronzes, lilacs, teals, and larger browns. On the far side of the weyrleader/w.w'sweyr is a double-sized ledge meant for the dragonpair to lie on together, and can hold more weight than that of an average gold and bronze. In the lesser weyrs, the ledge is slightly smaller for doubles and only a little larger than a normal ledge for single weyrs, but stronger to accomodate the larger dragon breeds.
Each room has a bed which is soft,with thick rushes in the matresses and thick sheets to keep stray rushes from poking the riders in the night. The beds in quality are about equal to that of everyone in the weyr, but for the candidates and drudges/servants. The double weyr beds are larger, meant for two people. There is a large couch in the center of the weyyrleader's room and a small table in front of it. The tiled floor has the image of a dragon across it. The common room is below, by the dragonrider weyrs.
