Appearance: Tiny and pixie-like, with a slight frame and thin curves. Her skin is ivory-pale and her hair is a dark brown, furthering the icey appearance of her skin. (at the same time, she looks friendlier and less ghost-like than xeroti) Her thick, curly brown hair reaches to the middle of her back and her bangs are short and thin. Her almond-shaped eyes usually are either dreamy-looking, or so intense that one feels they are being pulled in. Her eyes are a warm color, a golden-brown. Kariel is very short, especially for a twenty-turn old.
History:Kariel was born in the same range of holds as Lanrhakah, and in fact, the two have been best friends sinse before they could talk. Having a mostly normal life in a mostly normal hold, Kariel had a good childhood. Told by a masterhealer that she would not get any taller than her 5 feet tall, her parents thought of this as a major handicapp. But Kariel went on to apprentice to the hold's harper, and became a journeywoman very young. Though she does not have the best singing voice, nor can she play instruments very well, she is a master at weaving tales and stories from her imagination that sound so convincing, she can have a weyrleader thinking fish speak and walk on land without him knowing it's not true. But her life mostly changed when the flood occured, and she came to the weyr half-soaked, picked up out of the torrent of water by a dragon and rider. She was brought to the weyr an hour after Lanrie, and lanrie didn't know her bestie was in the Weyr until a few days later, at the egg-touch...
Kariel chose to become a candidate because she saw the role of a dragonrider-harper as a bright future for her. But she made a split decision, and missed the candidate lesson, only to arrive at the egg-touch late.
Personality: calm, dreamy, peaceful. she has an aura of calmness, and is good with dealing with children or animals. Most people see her as a day-dreaming girl who cannot take anything seriously, but in fact, Kariel is very serious about what she does and thinks. Even if that thing is about things that cannot exist XD
She believes in ghosts and spirts, especially those of dragons lost.
Superstitious and calming, Kariel is an unusual personality and anyone can tell. But only those close to her can tell how truly brilliant this young woman is.
She hides herself behind what some call wierdness on purpose, seeking to escape the world at times. For all of her little faults, however, she is a very good and loving friend, and once a person gets to know her, you find she is lovable as well
Pets: pet puppy, Flames, who adopted Kariel the day she came to the Weyr.
Other: not a HAD at all, Karaiel does pick up on the emotions of all telekinetic beings-- meaning firelizards, dragons ,and wher emotions are constantly bothering her, though she is learning to shut the feelings out.

Apperance: his coloring is pale sea-green, like mint ice cream, with a slight shimmer to his hide. on his paws and wingsails is a darker aqua shade that slowly fades into the lighter color. Ertoth is a very tiny teal, only the size of a small sand.
Personality:phlegmatic and brave; he is determined, quick-thinking, and seeks knowledge of the world around himself. calm and rationnal, but protective of His. He is claustrophobic, the reason why he almost panicked at his hatching.
