Character Number: 4
Name: K’ron (formerly Kreron)
Rank: DragonRider/ WingLeader
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Orientation: Hetero sexual
WeyrMate/Lover: Miri of Spiral Verelith
Children: Kiri and Narisen
Appearance:
Tanned, brown haired, blue eyed and needs to shave his stubble, K’ron is the ruggedly handsome type of guy. He’s lean but muscled as well as tall but stable.
However, K’ron is unusual in a few aspects... like the fact he only has one arm. Involved in a caravan accident when he was just eight years old, he broke his arm beyond repair. With a bad infection and no chance of recovering movement from the shoulder down, the arm was amputated. He also has a long scar running down the right-hand-side of his face. It distorts his features slightly on that side, but doesn’t hinder his handsomeness. K’ron is tall for the Pernese, he was about 6 ft when he was 15, and now is around 6ft.2.
He wears tight clothing, but not excessively so, his left sleave he pins back or cuts off completely. He doesn’t people gawking at his shoulder, so he isn’t afraid to take his shirt off... and usually does so just because he can.
Personality:
K’ron and Emiely have two completely different personalities. Yet they always feel the same. When one’s happy so is the other, when the others sad, so is the first. It’s rather confusing but once you’ve known hem for a while it’s very easy to predict what they’ll do.
K’ron is fun-loving and kind, if a little slow at times. It annoys the living daylights out of his sister. Emiely is more conservative. She prefers to watch and learn before she starts something.
They both love a good competition, something that is endlessly happening between them. They’re both loyal and honourable and make heaps of friends, if they can handle the tragic back-ground story the two share.
History:
When K’ron and Emiely were eight they were travelling with their parents, and the horrible accident happened. They were parked for the night on a hill, one with a big cliff at the relative end of it. In the middle of the night something happened to cause the supports of the caravan to detach themselves. The caravan began to roll, the twins father woke and pushed them out the door, he went back to help the twins mother, who’d had her foot stuck between some cracked floorboards that the family had neglected to fix. But there wasn’t enough time, and both of the twin’s parents died. The twins, now lost, scared and without food and water, walked to the weyr. The weyr woman couldn’t bear to send them away, and after caring for their injuries, she fostered them herself.
While the children we travelling, they came across a nest of fire-lizards. Only five of the flits were left, two were a bronze and a queen, which screeched away as soon as the children were in sight. However, the other three were injured and/or scared into cowering in the sand. K’ron was the first to the nest and immediately knew he had to care for the three remaining creatures. There was a violet, whose hind quarters had been mauled, a blue, whose tail has been kinked into one jagged line, and a barred, who was missing an eye. None of the injuries had hindered the tiny fire-lizards too much, but they made an interesting edition to the family. Because all three of the flits bonded to K’ron, they soon began to help him when he was struggling with his non-arm-ness.
Their foster mother died when they were 12. Which was the same year Emiely found her runner beast. The poor runt was going to be slaughtered because he was too small to be useful for anything but meat. Emiely was repulsed for such a harsh punishment and saved him, he helps her walk, and he’s big enough for her to sit on when she’s tired, now they have their own form of impression.
After the death of their foster mother, the weyr decided they didn’t need more fostering and one of the dragon riders suggested they should be put forward as candidates to the upcoming clutch. There was a big debate about whether such deformed children would ever impress. But it was decided, if they had managed to survive all they had been through, they could fight thread and therefore were placed on the back of a searchrider and flown to Moonlit.
The hatching was one of the most exciting days of K’ron’s life, as it is for almost any candidate that impresses. And it was obvious to everyone at the weyr. For weeks before he wore a smile as big as he could managed, so much so that his scar was sore every night. When the call came from Violet Judurith, he almost jumped out of his skin. Not with fear, but with excitement.
Someone such as K’ron rarely gets nervous until the very last minute, and that is what happened, although he will admit it to no one. As soon as he stepped onto the searing sands and looked up, seeing the underbellies of the dragons flying overhead as they delivered members of the gathering audience, he felt a tightening in his stomach.
Luckily it didn’t last long for the youth as his life-mate would hatch first.
The Ocean egg, one originally thought to hold a bronze, was shaking rapidly. As if by some divine force, the crowd hushed just as the egg split. Perfectly down the middle, the crack started at the eggs aqua tip and swiftly made its way to the sands, falling away to reveal a large teal. It crooned at the audience, blinking its many faceted eyes as they adjusted to the light.
The teals gaze quickly found K’ron and the impression was over in moments. The dragonette knew who he wanted and there was no time to waste. Mine! Torenth is hungry- feed me and be Mine?
From that moment on the pair have been together, not always in opinion and not always in body, but still together. There are too many differences between the pair to mention, but the saying is ‘opposites attract.’ It certainly fits these two.
When pranks are concerned, what one misses the other thinks of. When engaging in conversation, you always get half the story from one and half from the other. And when it comes to women, ones sense of humour and the others flattery make them each a very good wingman (if only for one another). There are less that have fallen into this trap than when K’ron was younger, but it needn’t matter since K’ron met Miri.
She’s smarter than most so she didn’t make it easy on K’ron, but when Torenth flew after Verelith, the deal was sealed for both pairs. They make fine weyrmates.
Pets: Fire-lizards;
Indigo Kinabori (Kina for short)
Kina is soft-hearted and soft-spoken. She mainly spends her time sitting on K’ron’s shoulder.
She’s a light, pinkish, purple and her eyes have a darker purple shade around them, she’s always watching everyone else, checking if their okay. She’s quite content to just sit and listen to hers' voice.
Colour Code= #CC00FF
Blue Takonic
The Blue of the family truly believes he’s a Bronze. He’s fast, agile, cocky and an attention seeker. It’s a good thing he’s cute, else Sparri might’ve killed him long ago.....
Takonic is a BIG blue. He’s the size of a normal Brown. His hide is a darker shade of Navy and he never stops moving.
Colour Code = #0000FF
Swirl Sparrish (Sparri)
Sparri is a spaz-woz..... that’s all I have to say.
Her creamy hide has indigo bars running down it. Her spine it the middle of all her bars and they stretch all the way down to her tail. She doesn’t have bars on her wings or legs like most of her breed, but it makes her all the more unique.
Sparrish is also missing an eye, it hinders her flight slightly as she automatically moves at a diagonal. Aiming too far right than she should. But over the years other flitters have learnt just to keep out of her way, and to squeak loudly is she’s about to run into a wall.

Teal Torenth
Dragon Breed: Teal
Dragon Age:5turns
Dragon Size: 9meters
Mate: Spiral Verelith
Dragon Colour:
Torenth is a gorgeous colour of dark teal, like an ocean at nightfall. It’s rich and beautiful and it makes him look sleek and agile. However his hide doesn’t sparkle in the sun, it just looks lighter.
He doesn’t have any other colourations, he’s just teal. A beautiful teal, but just teal.
Dragon Personality:
Torenth is charming and polite, though sometimes he can come over as stiff. Quite the opposite to his twin.
He loves the ladies but doesn’t show off.... much. He just prefers to look good and be polite. His charming nature has him friends with most. He’s loyal and diligent, and fights thread with all the power the teal possesses. Which is more than most people think.
