SummaryThe planet is an alternate earth named Herarth. Twenty years ago, when the hovercar on Herarth was finally perfected, it was discovered quite by coincidence that certain humans with slightly different DNA patterns are able to telepathically bond, or connect mind-to-mind, with telacats, felines who also have slightly strange DNA. These bonds are sought by nearly every young man or woman, child, and even older people as well. But while telacats are traded between them and bond pairs exchanged as well, do the telabond pairs really enjoy that kind of life? And some countries are holding back, creating envy and jealousy, and fears. What if the other ocuntry discovered a way to use Telabond pairs as weapons? What if they mutated the Telacats? What if? what if? what if? Fears are beginning to be blown out of all normalcy, and some of them are not quite unfounded. Will peace remain? It's up to YOU to find out and decide!

Now
Most of the politics between the countries rely on the numbers of telabond pairs they have, the skill of communication between the telacats and their telihumans, and the number of telis they have who are waiting to bond to a telacat. Trade has a major focus now on trading litters of kittens between countries so that DNA is spread and not inbred. And Telabond pairs are a major part of society. To be able to be a Telihuman, (or Teli), or to have a bond with a Telacat, is the goal of many youngsters and even some older poeple as well. In schools, the students are exposed to nature and understand nature; even in cities, students are expected to go on trips to forests with classes or their families.And some ask- what is the point of focusing so much of the world on telabonded humans and telacats? What are they good for?Telabond pairs interact between humans and animals so that the balance between humans and nature is kept, and can interpret to injured animals what treatments will be used to help them, and many other things. The countries, too are only kept in a peaceful balance because most have the same or similar numbers of Telabond pairs and Telis, andthey all trade ideas and litters and even pairs with each other. However, some countries are holding back, creating envy and jealousy, and fears. Because of this, others have stopped trading. It seems a war is on the horizon, if only because people's fears are being blown out of all proportion and some are being much too obstinate...
Meanwhile, Telabond pairs are pampered and privelledged, but they are not free to do whatever they want, unless they are high up in the pecking order. Even the ambassadors must listen to their superiors who tell them where to go, what to do.
What this roleplay is about
This roleplay is about the lives of people and animals on Herarth; The major plot right now is that despite being pampered, rich, admired, envied, and privelledged beyond even most movie stars on Herarth, the Telabond pairs are also prisoners, trapped and used for whatever the people in charge think they should do. What do YOU think is more important? Privalledges, or Freedoms? Now is the time to choose... And will there be some sort of rebellion, or protest, from Telabond pairs within the countries? Or will they side with those that rule them when the time comes for a war many see as inevitable? In the first place, will there even BE a war?If there is, which side will You be on? The roleplay will grow with its members: The world of Herarth will grow as you, the members, change it, adjust it, play with it, discover it.
