'Marks' are wooden circles about a centimeter thick, and are the currency of Pern. Marks can be earned and spent IC and OOC.

How to Earn Marks through Posts::
* signing up - 6 marks
* advertising for Moonlit - 5 marks
* starting an ic topic - 7 marks
* participating in a hatching - 6 marks (if any of your characters do not impress); 2 marks (if any of your characters impress)
* participating in an event - 6 marks
* completing a page of ic posts - 8 marks per
* person per page
* finishing an ic thread - 10 marks per person
* adopting a pc adoptable - 2 marks
* selling items (including firelizard eggs) - amount between 2 and 8 marks, up to seller.

Other Uses for Marks (spending marks) ::
* buying firelizard eggs or 'adopting' other pets (cost up to seller)
* buying other items (cost up to seller)
* 2 character slots (makes max # 7 instead of 5) - costs 9 marks
* adopting an npc character/dragonkin - costs will be listed
* creating a character capable of hearing all dragons - costs 10 marks
