A very soft spoken young woman, Tia often rarely argues about things. She often is a dreamer and dreamed of leaving Benden Weyr behind long before she actually did. She likes to stay to herself and she doesn’t really talk much unless she finds it necessary. Doesn’t mean she is shy, or rude. She is often friendly and will listen to strangers problems.

Tia is not very tall standing more around of 5'5" she appears to have really no meat on her bones. Yet she is still a healthy skinny. She often wears her Harper's rank colors and never really finds a reason to wear any other sort of clothing.

Tia was born to a brownrider (Mi’ren) and a crechewoman (Alina). Being the youngest in a long line of siblings from her father she was always treated very well. To her mother she was the only child and lived a very sheltered life for a Weyrbrat. As she grew older she was always dad’s little girl until the fateful day that her father disappeared from her life forever. She was never really close to her mother even if she lived a sheltered life by her mother. She always thought her mother was holding her back to her true potential.
As time went one a journeyman Harper noticed that Tia could sing very well. She was given an opportunity to leave Benden Weyr and learn the ways of being a Harper.
